• Modeling (CAD) the geometry of the engineering part and experimental (FEM) stress–strain behavior and finding the maximum residual stress and plastic strain • Plotting the bending–torsion fatigue life diagram (plastic strain–fatigue life) and comparing it with existing experimental data (maximum stress–fatigue life) • Using the empirical correlation (LCF approach) to analyze the results.
