Über mich
I am a person moved by curiosity. Professionally, this guided me to science. I obtained my PhD in Physics in 2019, and for eight years, my research has focused on the study of matter in extreme conditions with an emphasis on astrophysics and its links to condensed matter and beyond the Standard Model physics. I have more than ten years of experience teaching theoretical physics and mathematics at the University of Havana, and I have been involved in mentoring, thesis supervision, training young professors, science communication, promoting women in STEM, and organizing scientific conferences. Beyond Academia, curiosity has led me to explore other intellectual realms, including social sciences, humanities, cultural studies, writing, theater, and language learning, and I am always eager to take on challenges that push my limits. I enjoy teamwork, strive to make the work environment a space for collective growth, and believe in the inspiring power of good conversations over coffee.
